are seeking a proactive and experienced Automation Production Manager to manage and guide a team of technicians in the assembly installation troubleshooting and commissioning of ENGEL industrial automation systems This role involves hands on technical work oversight of factory and site acceptance testing and coordination with cross functional teams to ensure systems are delivered and performing to specification Team Leadership & Supervision Supervise daily team activities assign and schedule team members to projects and ensure timely project executionAct as the main point of contact for departmental issues and support team performance through coaching and mentorshipLead by example fostering a culture of creativity continuous improvement and accountabilityProvide technical guidance and take responsibility for the technical output and quality assurance of automation projectsSupport problem solving and maintain high engineering standards throughout the project lifecycleServe as the central communication link between project managers designers and customersEnsure alignment across departments through proactive communication status reporting and coordinationContinuously develop document and improve team workflows tools and processes to drive efficiency and innovation Project Execution & Supervision Lead the assembly and installation of automation and robotic systems including hardware and wiringVerify power and communication systems and ensure functional integrityOversee software installation debugging and safety validation per international safety standardsConfigure and optimize parameters sequences and robotic positions in alignment with project specificationsEnsure system performance and quality conforms to the sales order and design intentParticipate meeting for concept review to support the design of upcoming projects Testing & Commissioning Manage and perform Factory Acceptance Testing FAT including dry and full cycles of automation cellsLead on site installation and commissioning including mechanicalelectrical installation and Site Acceptance Testing SATEnsure completion of SAT documentation and successful sign off with the customer QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS EducationalTraining Requirement Bachelor Degree in Mechatronics Experience Minimum of 6 years related experience in robotic or automation is requiredPreferred Robot experience KUKA Staubli ABB FanucPreferred Control experience Siemens Allen Bradley Knowledge Skills and Abilities Excellent troubleshooting skills with high attention to detailKnowledge of Human Machine Interfaces HMI control system processors industrial instrumentation control system analog & digital IO control system networks EtherCAT Ethernet ProfinetKnowledge in graphical & ladder logic programming codeKnowledge in reading mechanical drawings pneumatic and electrical schematicsPerform work on multiple projects and tasksArticulate technical information exchanges in both verbal and written formOperation of an overhead crane and forkliftGood communication skills as this role develops and maintains relationships both internally eg employees within and outside of own department and externally to ENGEL Machinery eg customers mainly to supply andor interpret information OTHER REQUIREMENTS Travel Requirements Travel time per year 5
