As a Site Manager, you ensure safe, optimal performance of renewable energy assets by leading maintenance across wind farms and coordinating contractors. You will drive adherence to budgets, safety, and quality while coordinating with the Asset Management Team and area stakeholders. The role blends hands-on site management with governance, reporting, and continuous improvement to improve profitability and reliability. This is a chance to shape operations in a dynamic renewables setting.

Responsibilites

Manage wind farms within budget, communicating variances
Contribute inputs to annual operating and capital expenditure budgets
Drive performance improvements to boost profitability without compromising safety or quality
Oversee contractor performance and stakeholder engagement
Implement site work plans optimizing turbine generation
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through regular communication
Conduct contractor audits to ensure contract deliverables
Oversee project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with minimal site impact
Produce monthly operational reports and collaborate with Operational Analysts
Provide inputs for business cases and knowledge-sharing technical reports
Participate in rotational on-call duty and be available for outside-hours site attendance and remote support for DSO/TSO or market instructions
Ensure HSQE compliance, safety incident documentation and follow-up
Lead emergency planning exercises

Key requirements

2-5 years’ experience in onshore wind farm management
Knowledge of information documentation, monitoring, and reporting best practices
Experience with HV/LV equipment knowledge
Experience with O&M service companies
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
WTG fault analysis and corrective action planning
Strong scheduling and planning abilities
Educational background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil construction
Project management skills and experience
Travel willingness within allocated area, with potential European training travel
