Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you will support the full Record-to-Report cycle to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will act as a process expert, driving improvements and supporting intercompany and cross-functional teams. The position offers exposure to system migrations, ERP upgrades, and transformation programs within a globally distributed finance function. You will help maintain internal controls and partner with clients to deliver timely financial statements. This is an opportunity to influence finance operations at scale within a leading network.

Responsibilites

Prepare and post journal entries and perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close activities and financial statement preparation
Manage intercompany transactions and ensure data integrity across R2R
Lead or support onboarding and training for new team members
Contribute to system migrations, ERP upgrades or implementations and transformation programs
Collaborate with P2P and O2C teams to resolve cross-functional accounting issues and improve end-to-end processes
Identify process inefficiencies and drive optimization using standardization, automation, and, where applicable, RPA or workflow systems
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policy requirements

Key requirements

Bachelor degree completed related to Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Advanced English level B2/C1
At least 5 years of experience in the accounting cycle, intercompany processes and month-end closing
Experience in preparation of financial reports and accounting entries
Excel knowledge
