In this role you will drive international media campaigns for MGM theatrical releases, partnering with global and local teams to ensure culturally relevant, data-informed outcomes. You will own cross-market media planning, central activations, and measurement, shaping media strategy to amplify the studio’s releases worldwide. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge partnerships with major digital platforms and a chance to lead innovative, first-to-market initiatives. You will work closely with marketing, creative, and distribution to deliver impactful campaigns at scale.
Responsibilites
- Translate international strategy into audience and media plans for local markets and central activations
- Plan and coordinate central biddable media buys and integrated media partnerships
- Develop innovative, first-to-market media initiatives with local teams
- Ensure digital campaigns are guided by robust audience data and insights
- Create and deliver timely trailer campaign reporting for stakeholders and markets
- Lead agency briefing process and assess responses for strategic alignment and creative excellence
- Capture campaign learnings and share insights to drive improvements across markets
- Develop and oversee a digital learning agenda with the media agency to advance effectiveness
- Build and maintain relationships with global media partners (Meta, Google, TikTok) to leverage opportunities
- Ensure local teams access best-in-market media rates and tools
- Collaborate with creative, publicity, and distribution teams to align media with broader marketing
- Guide local teams to align media plans with central strategy and promote best-in-class tactics
- Foster cross-market collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Manage local territory campaign budgets and ensure alignment with budgets
- Communicate budget changes clearly and timely
- Coordinate with finance for title-level budget reconciliation
Key requirements
- Hands-on media planning, buying, or strategy with theatrical media experience
- Strong understanding of media planning principles, audience strategy, and performance measurement
- Digital fluency with platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok
- Proven end-to-end campaign development and execution
- Experience managing media across multiple international markets
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational abilities and multi-campaign management
- Strong financial acumen and history of managing multiple budgets
