In this role you will support Nadara’s development pipeline of solar and wind projects by implementing and maintaining HSE policies, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring safe, compliant construction. You will work with the HSQE and Development teams to monitor progress, perform inspections, and drive improvements in safety and environmental performance. This role offers the chance to shape HSE practices across multiple renewable projects and contribute to Nadara’s sustainable growth in the UK.

Responsibilites

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health & Safety policies and procedures aligned with UK regulations
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure safety and environmental compliance
  • Develop and implement Health & Safety and Environmental Plans and Emergency Response Plans for projects
  • Conduct site inspections and audits
  • Monitor project progress and report status to management
  • Maintain site risk assessments and ensure control measures during construction
  • Implement preventive and corrective action plans at solar and wind farms
  • Coordinate emergency procedures
  • Provide guidance on method statements, safe systems of work, and updated legislation
  • Define local HSE training plans and deliver training to workers
  • Manage, monitor and analyze HSE performance data
  • Respond to and investigate accidents and incidents with root-cause analysis
  • Identify trends in HSE data and drive Nadara-specific programs
  • Identify hazards and manage environmental risks
  • Contribute to initiatives promoting safety and environmental awareness
  • Review and validate HSE requirements in contracts during development phase

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as HSE Project Coordinator in renewable energy (solar and wind)
  • Strong understanding of CDM 2015 implementation on UK sites
  • Experience developing and implementing safety and environmental procedures
  • Experience conducting site inspections and audits
  • Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Independent and collaborative work style; results- and solution-focused
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across departments and with external partners
