As the D365 Ecosystem Architect at Chanel, you will lead technical integrity for a global ERP harmonisation program across regions. You shape cross‑functional solutions, aligning business strategy with delivery across D365, Power Platform, and Azure. You’ll own end‑to‑end architecture, set guardrails, and drive standardisation in a fast‑paced transformation. The role combines strategy, solution design, and delivery, offering a meaningful impact on global systems and data governance.
Responsibilites
- Own end‑to‑end architecture across parallel workstreams and create a multi‑system technical blueprint for D365 connecting Power Platform, Azure, Fabric and Tier‑1 systems
- Provide technical leadership and delivery oversight; enforce standards, evaluate changes, and govern cross‑system specifications
- Ensure development follows Microsoft‑recommended patterns and guardrails (extensions, event‑driven design)
- Support integration and data architecture with emphasis on API design, messaging, and data governance
- Contribute to continuous improvement by aligning with Microsoft roadmap and Chanel internal plans; suggest enhancements
- Maintain the end‑to‑end risk register and mitigation plans; uphold non‑functional requirements across global teams
- Produce core artefacts (target‑state views, integration maps, infra/infosec considerations) and align technical scope across D365, integrations, Power Platform, and Tier‑1 systems
- Drive solution roadmap and multi‑instance strategy across a complex, high‑integration landscape
Key requirements
- 10 years in ERP as a Solution/Technical Architect or Technical/Functional Lead
- Experience owning end‑to‑end scope across a complex multi‑system ecosystem
- Experience with modernisation initiatives: cloud migration, modularisation, API‑driven architecture
- Proven ability to align parallel workstreams, define scope boundaries, and govern architecture decisions across teams
- Experience in D365 F&O or AX 2012 is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, API design, and data governance
