Responsibilites
- Identify and engage new B2B clients committed to sustainability and renewable energy
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Co-pilot) to analyze market data, identify leads, and gain insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients for retention and growth
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements that maximise value for ENGIE and clients
- Collaborate with sales and operations to develop lead-gen strategies and ensure client satisfaction
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior management
Key requirements
- Proven experience in the UK energy market, particularly in the retail segment
- Strong track record in B2B sales, business development, and client relationship management across multiple segments
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to plan strategically and deliver against ambitious sales objectives
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent, ideally with energy market experience
- Comfortable using digital tools and AI-powered platforms to enhance prospecting efforts
