In this role you lead the Bristol depot within Liebherr’s Earth Moving After Sales division, guiding depot operations and field service workload to support business performance. You partner with administration and service teams to ensure smooth workflows, timely invoicing, and strong customer relationships. You drive revenue through parts, servicing, and repair contracts while upholding HSE standards. You’ll develop your team through training, appraisals, and structured performance reviews, shaping a customer-focused, results-driven service culture.

Responsibilites
- Lead daily depot operations with strict adherence to H&S and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor Utilisation and WIP targets; coordinate with administration for timely invoicing (within 30 days).
- Provide high-level technical assistance to field service engineers and customers as a subject matter expert.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting annual targets for parts, servicing, and repair contracts.
- Collaborate with Service Controllers to estimate repairs and convert them into commercial opportunities.
- Manage team through performance tools: appraisals, return-to-work interviews, holidays, sickness cover, and reviews.
- Facilitate monthly toolbox talks, weekly depot meetings; ensure engineers receive ongoing technical training.
- Build strong internal and external customer relationships through proactive communication and promotions.
- Act as escalation point for customer disputes; resolve invoice queries or service issues professionally and promptly.
- Ensure high-level, customer-focused product support to maintain brand reputation.
Key requirements
- Experience in a similar role within the Plant Industry.
- Previous technical and plant engineering experience.
- Team player with a flexible approach.
- Good communicator at all levels.
