What you'll be doing:
As a senior leader within the Commercial National Accounts team, you will positively contribute to our commercial objectives and support the growth of our business through the leadership of an account management team that manages National Customers (National or Strategic Account Customers) within our key Grocery Retail & Distribution sectors.
You will focus on the strategic development of our Grocery Retail & Distribution sectors with a key focus on customer retention, business growth and solution innovation.
Role Responsibilities include:
To effectively manage, inspire and drive a high performing team so that our account management and touch plans are maximised for business growth and customer retention.
Take overall responsibility for the generation and growth of Revenue, Net Revenue and EBIT ensuring national requirements are met across all account managers and customer portfolios.
To work with account managers to produce individual Account Management Plans for each client within the defined portfolio giving full visibility of all account details. Ensure development pathways and contract retention / development factors are identified.
To identify, drive and deliver innovation projects ensuring Veolia is embedded within customer value chains by collaborating with key stakeholders to manage and deliver business innovation, best practices and strategic value projects.
Ensure all elements of the Contract are delivered in line with client expectations across all account managers and customer portfolios.
To develop strategic plans to grow the Veolia business in key sectors and expand our market offering
What we're looking for:
An inspirational leader with a demonstrable track record of leading high-performance, cross-functional teams.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally to retain significant key national accounts and develop long term sustainable relationships.
Significant experience in leading and driving transformation and change.
Strategic thinker who is solution focussed and creative, with the ability to implement strategy and embed into a business.
Knowledge of resource management solutions within the Hospitality, Leisure or Food Services sectors.
Ability to build relationships and influence at a senior leadership level.
Extensive experience in leading and influencing across a large matrixed environment.
Ability to manage a P&L.
Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritise among competing priorities.
